David Partlow Obituary

A funeral mass will be held for David F. Partlow at 11:00am, June 6, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

David was loved to this day by his wife Patricia; children Pamela, Trish, Sue, Michael; granddaughters Chloe and Ruby and many others. He will be laid to rest near his son Thomas who preceded him in death.

Dave was a kind, contemplative man with a winning smile and a sense of humor that brought grins as well as groans. He was deeply spiritual and his calling led him to become a deacon in the Catholic Church where his greatest gift was his ministry to the elderly and sick.

A lifelong learner and chronic reader, Dave graduated from the University of Dayton where he met Pat, the love of his life. Later in life he took on a new challenge and achieved his Master’s Degree in Theology.

Deep beneath Dave’s quiet exterior, was the kernel of an adventurer. This manifested itself in travel around the world, addiction to mysteries and a love of James Bond movies. Dave will be missed.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Providence Hospice or Rose Haven, Portland, Oregon.
