James McCartney Obituary

Jim passed on at home from a late diagnosis of ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

He is survived by his wife and partner Rose; Brother Dick and family; Stepdaughters Melanie LeBlanc, Michele Long, and Cassie Mathieson. He was a wonderful Grandpa to Sara Long, Eric Long, and Daisy Mathieson.

He was a retired machinist local IAMAW from Con-Met, a Milwaukie resident in his younger years, and an avid fisherman mainly in the Clackamas River area.

May he find “the one that got away” in Heaven. He will be with his family at Riverview Abbey. There will not be a funeral, no flowers.

Any donations should be sent to the Oregon Food Bank.
