Pat was a lifetime resident of Portland, attending Fernwood Elementary Grade School, Grant High School, and graduated from Oregon State College. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. After graduation she worked as a Lab Technician.

She married Bob in 1949 and raised four children. Pat was active as a volunteer for Madeleine School and Parish, Christ Child Society, and a board member of Providence Child Care Foundation. She also volunteered at Albertina Kerr, Meals on Wheels, Archbishop’s Seminary Tea Committee, St. Thomas More’s Broadmoor Guild, Jesuit High School, St. Mary’s Academy, Tuesday Alameda and Catholic Charities. She was a member of Riverside Country Club, Multnomah Athletic Club, and Claremont Golf Club.

Her passions included golf, travel, bridge, knitting, and spending time at their second home in Neskowin.She was very proud of her three hole-in-one’s! Her favorite memories were family, pets, the love of Black Rabbit Red, and Fourth of July celebrations at Neskowin. Her family will never forget how she loved to shop!

Pat was involved in the Alzheimer’s study at OHSU and upon her death she donated her brain for further research. This will continue her love for science and giving to others.
