October 25, 1936 ~ October 5, 2021 (age 84)
Dolores “Dodie” Lang was born in October 1936 in Painted Woods Township, North Dakota. Dodie passed away in October 2021 in Mesa, Arizona.
She is survived by her two brothers Wayne Schaefer (Connie) and Richard Schaefer, as well as her two sons Jeff (Claudia) and Jerry (Cindie) Lang, her 7 grand kids Nicholas, Nicole, Katie, Alex, Kendra, Brenden, and Dylan and her 11 great grand children
Dodie graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1954 and was married in 1956 to Arthur Dennis Lang “Denny”. Denny passed away in 1972.
Dodie lived in Oregon until 2016 when she moved to Arizona. Her career path led her from banking, secretary at Sherwood Elks, to cashier at Tigard Albertsons. Her hobbies included knitting Christmas stockings, loved golf and was an avid reader. Dodie’s warm and giving heart will always be remembered. She never knew a stranger.
Services will be held on November 12th 2021, 11 AM, at Riverview Abbey Funeral Home and Mausoleum with a private family burial at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Portland, Oregon to follow.
