What a sweet lady Marilyn.
We met Marilyn when when my husband and I were newlyweds. We were touring homes in the Lake Oswego area back in 2002.
Marilyn was hosting an open house. I wasn’t very fond of realtors, but when I saw and met Marilyn I said…she is the one. She showed us homes, many. She would drive her car and take us, even to dinner.
After one try, we found our dream home in Tualatin, 7343 SW Tenino Lane.
We were new to buying a home,…so scared.
She laughed because we hadn’t even bought the house and we were already working in the backyard pulling weeds and ivy. We bought the house with Marilyn. She even gave us some money to close to deal.
Our daughter was born in 2006. She met Sophia. She would come around Christmas time and bring little gifts like a pink velvety jacket for Sophia and some Christmas platters.
I am from Argentina….I was looking for a house with a bidet. Marilyn would tell me” Laura, it’s hard to find homes with a bidet in the US” but she would always look to see even if there was space to install one.
She took us to a private showing of a $4,000,0000 mansion… that house had a bidet!. Ha! (
Later my parents were going to move to the US….she showed them around as well.
May God bless you dear Marilyn.Â
Your spirit is in our home.

A candle was lit in remembrance
What a wonderful respectful tribute to my mother. She was so respected in the Lake Oswego realtor community, as a 40-year realtor, and faithful, truthful to her clients. She would always let you not know if there was something else with your home buying experience. Thank you for the kind tribute!
