“Jerry” Wendorf was born in Chicago, to George and Betty Wendorf. Jerry met his wife of 66 years, Genevieve Skotnicky, at Roosevelt High School in Chicago.

Jerry and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1966, and settled in Lake Oswego in 1992.

He served in the Illinois Army National Guard, was an electrician and a proud member of IBEW Local 134.

Jerry passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Oswego. Jerry is survived by his wife, Gen; children, Jocelyn (Doug), Jaine (Steve, d. 2011) and Gail. He was a devoted “Boppa” to his grandchildren, Laine (Brock), Matthew (Julie), Amanda (Kyle), Ryan, Jeremy (Michelle), Chris (Britkne), Jessica, Monica (Sam) and Gabriel; and had seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held in Jerry’s honor at 11 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2019, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 650 A Avenue, Lake Oswego, OR 97034, with reception to follow. After the reception, burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Oswego.
