September 13, 1964 ~ January 14, 2018 (age 53)
She was a Principal of the JEMA Bitar Companies, a graduate of Oregon State University and a lifelong Beaver (surrounded on all sides by Ducks).
She is survived by her uncle and aunt, William and Margaret Bitar of Portland; her aunt, Mary Bitar Korek of Vancouver, B.C; her uncle, Ron Allen of Portland; her aunt, Arlyn Lucas of Prineville; numerous cousins; and countless adoring friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and her beloved dog, Neo, all with whom she is now happily reunited.
Loving, kind, fun, generous, creative, curious and caring. Lisa exuded a sense of anticipation for life, embodied true gratitude, and was always up for adventure. She lived life as it is meant to be lived…full throttle. She cared deeply about others and served tirelessly on several boards including Dress for Success Oregon and Oregon Military Museum Project.
Lisa traveled the world and delighted in new cultures and experiences. She loved good food and even better wine – she was an expert in both. She also loved chocolate, jazz, Italy, and Cannon Beach. We love you Lisa and pray there are no tomatoes in heaven.
A celebration of life in her honor will begin at 10:30 a.m., January 29, 2018, at the Portland Art Museum, 3rd floor of the Mark Building.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Dress for Success Oregon and Oregon Military Museum Project.
