Donald Bruce Petersen was born on April 30, 1938 in Florence, Oregon. Don died on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 79 years, in Portland, Oregon.
Don worked in truck sales and service for Freightliner in the facilities maintenance.
Don is survived by his wife, Carol Fay Petersen; daughters, Karen Marie Petersen and Robin Eileen Petersen; son, Hans William Petersen; brothers, Kenneth (Phyllis) Petersen and Gerry (Kena) Petersen; sisters, Laura (Bill) Beebe and Cheryl (Fred) Beyer; Sister-in-law, Linda (Irvan) Petersen; Grandson, Emmett Donald Petersen, preceded in death by his brother, Irvan Petersen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the NW Vintage Car & Motorcycle Museum (Powerland Heritage Park) 3995 Brooklake Road N.E., Books, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Education Program at the museum would be appreciated.

Don is safe in the House of the Lord now, but there is a huge hole in my heart that will remain there until we find each other again. My brother was loved and respected by many people that share the emptiness and deep loss of his passing.
