As a devoted Catholic it was at this time that she decide to give back to her faith by working at Catholic Services For Children for over 25 years as a Counselor at a Group Home for troubled boys in Portland. She also established an Unwed Mothers Home in S.E. Portland for young mothers which provided them the education, counseling and option for saving their child for adoption.
She is survived by her brother, Marko A. Susnjara; and preceded in death by her sister, Mary B. Mircovich.
Millie loved spending time with family and spoiling her eight nieces and nephews along with all of their children.

One reply on “Millie Susnjara”
I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Susnjara family and friends are feeling because of losing Ms. Millie recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God’s promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God’s kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25)You are in my prayers.
