Michael Joseph Pisano, 92, of Milwaukie, was born in Portland.
He worked as a Journeyman Mechanic for Union Pacific & Southern Pacific Railroads. He was an active member in the Sons-of-Italy and the Milwaukie Kiwanis. He volunteered his time for many years for meals-on-wheels.
Mike was a cherished husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pisano.
He is survived by his son, Richard Taufer and wife, Michele; daughter, Patti Lama and husband, Mike; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception Saturday, November 18, 2017, at St. Agatha Church, 7983 S.E. 15th, Portland. For those interested, a rosary will be held at 10 a.m., prior to the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be made to OHSU Foundation, 1121 S.W. Salmon St. – #100, Portland, OR 97205. Please note “OHSU Parkinsons Center” on the memo line.
