Biography

Sister Jane Ellen Burns (Kathryn Burns), age 94, died at the Marie-Rose Center at Mary’s Woods at Marylhurst in Lake Oswego, Aug. 19, 2017.

A member of the Sisters of the Holy Names for 69 years, her funeral will be held at 11 a.m., September 6, 2017, in the Chapel of the Holy Names, Lake Oswego.
Sister Jane Ellen is survived by her nephews, Bob Anderson and wife, Liz and Ken Anderson and wife, Sherri; and her nieces, Molly Anderson and husband, Michael, and Libby Anderson and husband, Michael, Alicia Anderson and partner, Peter, and Kitt Laws and husband, Jim; countless great and great-grandnieces and nephews; and the members of her religious community.
