Prior to retiring, he liked to go salmon fishing. He loved the game of golf, traveling, and ‘wintering’ in Arizona. He enjoyed the wildlife, especially the deer, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, his daughters Leslie Kristoff (Mark), Kelly King (Scott), Vici Collins (Mike) and Nancy Hayes and 7 grandchildren (Steven Kristoff, Heather Kristoff, Rebecca Collins, Gus Collins, Joe Collins, Kylie Hayes and Jacob Hayes).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerry’s name to the American Heart Association or a Kidney Association. Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 1st at 1:00 pm Riverview Abbey.
You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Jerry Barron

Exchanged many e-mails with Jerry the last few years. Enjoyed visiting Jerry and Sharon in Arizona also. He was a true Oregonian and enjoyed life. Rest in peace, my friend.
Thinking about you. Can’t wait to see you in Heaven.Â
