Richard Watson Obituary

A lifelong resident of Lake Oswego, Richard passed away peacefully at home.

Son of Dr. Willis H. Watson and Lucile Lawlor, Richard graduated from Central Catholic High School and Lewis and Clark College, receiving his US Marine Corp commission.

Married Sally J. Hart on April 15, 1961 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Watertown, New York. Richard worked 45 years for J.C. Penney Company.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sally; sons, William (Stacey) J. Watson, Timothy (Lori) S. Watson, and Michael P. Watson; Grandchildren, Nicholas D. Watson, Jacob M. Watson, and Sarah G. Watson.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Oswego.

Burial with Military Honors at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
