February 14, 1923 ~ January 10, 2015 (age 91)
Violet was born in Portland, OR to Albert and Mattie Atherton, and graduated from West Linn High School in 1942. In 1943 she married Robert Kaiser and they were married 70 years until his death Aug 31, 2013. The couple had three children and made their home on a farm in West Linn. Violet was a homemaker, and besides her devotion to her kids and grandkids, she enjoyed gardening, caring for the baby lambs, traveling, and friends.
She is survived by her three children; Betty McRobbie (David), Beverly Horn (John), and Don Kaiser (Lori). She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, Jeff, Bryan, Travis, Patti, Jim, Jason, Robert, and Kelsie and their families, including 14 Great-Grandchildren and the 1st Great-Great-Grandchild on the way.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her siblings, a sister and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be on January 25, 2015 at the Oregon City Elks as an open house from 1-3pm. Private family interment will be handled by Riverview Abbey in Portland.
A special “Thank You” to all caregivers involved from “The Springs” at Wilsonville.

Violet will be missed.She was such a kind and gentle lady. I very much enjoyed her company. Thank you for sharing her with us at the Springs.
