November 27, 1919 ~ April 21, 2012 (age 92)
Jackie was born on November 27, 1919 in Terry, Montana to Harold and Jessie Dersham. Her mother Jessie passed away when she was Jackie only 11 years old and Harold married Helen Dersham who was the teacher at their school. They lived on a ranch in Terry Montana.
After high school Jackie went to Beauty school and became a hair stylist. She owned and operated her hair salon in her home for many years.
She married Mr. Hardesty in 1936 and had one son, Gene, who passed away in 1997.
She married Johnnie Ross Sr. in October of 1942 in Forsyth. They were married for 20 years.
She married Hugh Remus in Billings. Mr. Remus passed away in 1995.
Agnes “Jackie” loved her sons dearly and they were the center of her life. She would do anything to help them.
She loved riding horses and had two horses, “Dusty and Buck” at the ranch that her father and step mother owned. She loved to draw and paint and often drew pictures of her horses and the landscape around the ranch. She sang in the church choir in Miles City, Montana at First Presbyterian.
Jackie would always tell us “drop me a line sometime”, one of her quotes that she was known for.
A family get together will take place later in July. Jackie will be laid to rest near her parents in Terry, Montana.
Condolences may be sent to the family at John Ross, 11840 SW Bruce Drive, Beaverton, OR 97008.
