Albert was born, raised and lived most of his life in Portland.
In his working years he was a bus driver for Tri-Met. Retired, he worked part-time as a coach driver for Oregon Funeral Service.
He enjoyed classical music and was an avid gardener.
He also volunteered and later became a board member for the Oral Hull Foundation for the Blind where contributions may be sent in his name.
