Anna Desimini, of Aloha, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2014, two weeks after her 105th birthday. Anna was born in 1909, in Bari, Italy, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 3 years. She grew up on the family farm while attending Cooper Mountain School near Beaverton.

In 1926, Anna married John Desimini and raised a family in their home in Portland. He passed away in 1995.

Anna resided at Marea’s Agape Foster Home in Aloha, where she had been living contentedly for the past 10 years. She enjoyed visits by daughter, Joan, and grandchildren, John and Denise. Marea would like to thank Dr. Anne Huff at Kaiser Sunset for her special care and attention.

Anna is survived by a daughter; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on August 14, 2014, at Riverview Abbey.
