Barbara Moreland Obituary

A rosary will be said for Barbara Theresa Moreland on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at 7:00pm with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 10:00am at the Church of the Madeline.

Barbara Theresa Niedermeyer was born the daughter of Bernard Eugene Niedermeyer and Sabina Martin Niedermeyer on January 25, 1935, in Portland. She lived at 3241 NE 21st Avenue in Portland until she married Stephen Ignatius Moreland at age 22.

She is survived by her brothers, Dan, Jack Linus, Jim and Tom (twin); and sisters, Mary Natta, Ruth Van Hoomisen and Jeannie Santos. She was preceded in death by Ben, George, Ed and Walt Niedermeyer; and Katie Ferguson; and Virginia Nava.

Barbara is also survived by her children, Stephen III, Carey, Michael, and Jim Moreland and Tessie Healy, Mary Moreland, Molly Jacobsen, Shannon russell, Anna Lawler; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandson, Dominic.
