January 11, 1922 ~ November 27, 2013 (age 91)
She was born Beulah Mae Downs, and she grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where she met her husband Sumner Blossom while roller skating at the local rink in 1937.
She and her family moved to Portland in 1945 and after WWII Sumner joined her and they married at the First Presbyterian Church on her parent’s 25th wedding anniversary.
Beulah is survived by her husband of 67 years, Sumner Blossom; daughters, Mary, Barbara Mikesh (Joe), Susan, and Dianne; 3 granddaughters, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife and mother.
A service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013, at Riverview Abby, 319 SW Taylors Ferry Rd.
Donations may be made to Mercy Corp or the Salvation Army.
You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Beulah Blossom
