Colleen Smith Obituary

Born to Milton and Mary Smith Colleen died at age 87.

She lived in Portland Oregon and graduated from Marylhurst College with a BS in Education. Colleen became an Elementary teacher in 1950 teaching in the Portland Public School System and oversees at the US Air Force base in England. Colleen passionately worked hard for causes that involved the city, children, education and politics.

She leaves behind many friends and was fondly referred to as “Auntie Colleen” by the family of Barbara Harris her treasured friend of 81 years.

A mass of the Christian burial will be held Saturday November 19 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Outside In 1132 SW 13th Avenue, Portland, OR 97205.
