October 29, 1934 ~ February 27, 2012 (age 77)
Attended Springfield High School. He was active in band, track and basketball.
Served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a logger, welder/maint millwright and Sec Officer.
Survived by wife, Karen, of 45 years; son, Brent, Seaside; three grandsons, David, Tyler Jo and Hunter; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Harry Houghton, Redmond; half-brother, Dalton Perry, Cottage Grove.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. March 18 at Community of Christ Church, 4837 NE. Couch St., Portland.
Interment at Willamette National Cemetery.
