February 1, 1931 ~ March 4, 2018 (age 87)
Donna Bernice Heintz passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.
Donna was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Katherine Ethel Morris. Her childhood struggles produced a woman of strength and resilience, qualities she shared with others throughout her life.
Donna met Edward Heintz while working at The Big Bite in Portland. They married January 10, 1953 and began a family. After seven children, Donna returned to work in the 1980s and took great pride in her work in the kitchen at Tigard High School. Donna loved family gatherings, baseball, softball, bowling and cooking. Above everything, she loved babies and would light up in the presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After retirement, she and Ed enjoyed traveling the country and camping with friends and family.
Donna is survived by her husband, Edward; sons, Gary (Joanne), Barry (Tami), Curtis (Debra), Jeff (Johna), Eric (Lisa); daughters, Karen and Kristin; and sisters, Jane Clavette and Glenda Robinett. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean and Jackie; and grandson Tyler.
