March 22, 1932 ~ April 19, 2021 (age 89)
Donna Lee Poole, age 89, passed away April 19, 2021 in her home peacefully with her loving husband, daughter and family by her side. She was born in Portland, Oregon March 22, 1932 to Catherine and Maurice Estes, their only child.
Donna Lee attended Oregon State College. She met George E. Poole while he was home on leave from the US Marine Corps. The two were married at All Saints Episcopal, November 8, 1952, and made their home in West Portland.
Donna Lee was involved in the Society of New England Women, Portland Junior League, the Broadmoor Woman’s Club and was a Fellow in the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
She has long been the keeper of the family lineage, guaranteeing all would be remembered. She never failed to place flowers on the grave of every family member that preceded her.
She was a collector of many things; from antique china clocks to Royal Doulton figurines. Always an expert on each of her treasures.
She is survived by her husband and daughters Melinda Anne Sullivan, Sarah Maurine Krapes, Dana Lynn Moore, and Deborah Jean Poole. She has six grandchildren; Stephanie Catherine Pratz, Kathryn Anne Lane, Brian Allan Moore, Eric Edward Moore, Laura Alexandra Walters, and Grace Elizabeth Poole. Her great grandchildren include, Faith Lynn McClure, Paige Maria McClure, Damion Henry Albonico, Scarlett Rae Lane and Weston James Lane.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.
