Doyle Dickinson Obituary

Doyle was born in Hurricane Utah, the second of ten children.

As a young man he traveled to all 48 states. He moved to Portland in 1939 and was trained to be a Merchant Marine electrician. He sailed on tankers in the Atlantic and Pacific in WWII.

After the war ended he married beautiful Josephine Goad and became an electrical contractor. He has lived in Lake Oswego since 1958. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren, auctions, selling electrical breakers, boating, water skiing, horses, hunting, traveling, his gun collection, and Scuba diving.

He served in the LDS church, supported Boy Scouts, and this year receives his 70 year pin from the electrical union.

He is survived by Brother Richard and sister Ora, three sons, Doyle, Van and Larry, 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the LDS church, 14903 Westlake Drive, Lake Oswego, on May 2nd at 11:00 am (9:30 viewing).
