March 17, 1923 ~ February 4, 2017 (age 93)
Edith was born on March 17, 1923 in Torrington, Wyoming. She grew up on a ranch in Torrington and after graduating from high school moved to Denver, Colorado to start her career. She worked for several women’s clothing companies in Denver and Los Angeles and after moving to Portland she worked for Zell Brothers Jewelers.
She met her husband Albert Stacey in Wyoming and after they married in 1948 they moved to Portland, Oregon to start a new life. They bought a printing company in 1950 that became Stacey’s Lithography & Printing, which they owned until 2003.
Edith was an independent woman and lived life on her own terms. She was young at heart, fun to be with, wonderful company and friends and family adored her. She will be sorely missed, but after a long and happy life she was ready to close this chapter and reunite with her husband Al who died in 2001.
Edith is survived by her sons Brad and Jeff, her daughter-in-law Lois (Brad), sister Bertie Beahm, and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Edith expressed concern for the many men and women who have served their country who need a helping hand on their return to civilian life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday February 21st at 1:00PM at the Cherrywood Village Chapel, 1417 SE 107th Avenue, Portland, OR 97216.

Brad and Jeff-so sorry about your mom-she and your dad were two of my favorite people during my career at Gerbermany memories of both.
Will miss Edith and the good times our group of ladies from Parkrose area had. We had so much fun playing bunco, going on trips and laughing. She was an elegant lady and a good friend.

Edith was our neighbor on the Penthouse floor at Cherry
Wood Orchards about three years. To say she embraced jewelry would put is mildly. She not only wore it beautifully, she also designed and created it, and had many ladies wearing her stuff with glee. When Edith walked into a room, it would light up. Her personality was magic with a bit of royalty mixed in. Jim and I know we were very privileged to have her as part of our senior years She was our go-to-gal when something needed to be done! We want to thank our Lord for giving us time with this remarkable lady. Our sincere sympathy to her two sons and daughter-in-law, whom she dearly loved and was so proud of.

Edith was a beautiful lady – both inside & out! She definitely will be missed. We have very fond memories growing up with the Stacey family down the street & our parents partying the night(s) away! Remember: What is lovely never dies, but passes into other loveliness!!! Wishing Brad & Jeff all of our best. With Love, Cindy Marlton & Debbie Meinhart.
