I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Delanty and his wife many years ago when I taught at West Linn High. As parents they were the very best since I had the privilege to teach a couple of their sons. Had I ever had the opportunity to have had children of my own Ed & Nancy would have been my role models.
My sincere sympathy to Nancy and their sons.
Dear Nancy,
We’re so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. Although Ed was not at The Pearl for very long, it was apparent how much he was loved.
I have fond memories of Ed like when I asked him to smile, he responded with a nice smile and then another time when I was hanging up my dad’s clothes in his closet, I peeked over at Ed and noticed he quickly shut his eyes, then I would go back to hanging clothes, turn around and he would shut his eyes again. I often wondered if he had a great sense of humor as he sure seemed like it. Ed will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Fondly,
Mick, Kristen, Pat and Dan
