Edward Groman Obituary

Edward Samuel Groman passed away June 5, 2018 at the Hopewell Hospice House in Portland. He was 87 years old.

He was born in Amarillo, Texas and was the second of three children. Ed attended Washington High School in Portland and graduated from Columbia High in Richland, Washington. Ed served his country during the Korean War in the Air Force. He had successful careers as a candy distributor and in management for the Old Spaghetti Factory. Ed and his wife, Jean lived in Charbonneau where they enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends. Ed was an active member of his community.
Ed was a devoted husband, son, brother, friend and father. He will be missed. Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Marie in 1976. He is survived by his wife, Jean and her family; sister, Sally Dussin; brother Tom Groman; daughter Lyndsey Kaufmann and her family; and nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m., June 29, 2018, at Mountain Park Church in Lake Oswego.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed’s name to the Hopewell House, Focus on the Family or the Heritage Foundation.
