October 12, 1923 ~ March 18, 2018 (age 94)
Ed is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; his daughters Diana Ball, Debby Flesvig, Judy Brinkerhoff-Wagner, Eileen Larson, Diana Diamond and Bonnie Waldier; and his sister Deloris Riggins. He also had many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
Ed grew up in the Kelso, Longview area of Washington on his father’s farms. He milked the cows and did other jobs on the farm. Later he picked ferns for florists and worked in his brother’s dairy while caring for his family.
After Ed and Betty were married, he went to work for Freightliner where he stayed for 25 years until he retired. They raised their four daughters in Portland.
Ed went home to The Lord Sunday morning the 18th of March 2018. He is interred at Riverview Abbey.

Betty & Family: Our deepest sympathy and condolences at this difficult time. May Ed rest in peace. Hugs Pat & Buster
Our prayers our with your family. May God give you peace and strength.
I am very sorry to learn that Edwin has passed away. He will no doubt be missed profusely. I hope a passage at John 5:28,29 brings comfort to your entire family. May the promise of seeing our loved ones again like Ed sustain you during this time.
