A native of New Jersey, Eileen moved to Lake Oswego in 1997 where she became an active member of the Lake Oswego Senior Center and Garden Club.

An artist at heart, she enjoyed drawing, painting, and sewing. She sang beautifully, and attended countless operas, live theater performances, and concerts in her lifetime making sure to carefully record dates and personal impressions of her experiences in every Playbill and program she collected.

Eileen was an avid reader who could always be found at the local library.

She took great pride in her Irish heritage, traveled as often as she could, and adored Gaelic music.

She also loved horse-racing, the Nets, authentic Italian food, gin and tonics, her pet cats, the color blue, and Bugs Bunny.

Her family will miss her playful blue eyes and joy for life.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents William and Catherine (Kitty), siblings Margaret, William, Jr. and Bobby, husband Michael and eldest daughter, Marion.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ganley (Timothy) of Lake Oswego, and Eileen Kovach of Lindhurst, N.J., granddaughter, Cynthia Williams (Damon), and beloved great-grandchildren, Isaac Aaron and Rowen Lucille Williams.
