Eleanor Corvi Obituary

On December 12, 2018, Eleanor Ann Corvi “Ellie” passed away to join her husband Al, who passed in 1989. Ellie was born September 18, 1921 in Spokane, Washington.

She and Al moved to Portland in 1963, where she since has made her home. Ellie was a member of the St. Thomas More parish and a member of its Bridlemile Guild. Ellie was the mother of seven children, the grandmother of 18 grandchildren and the great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren. She always was with family to enjoy holidays and celebrate numerous birthdays and special occasions. Martha Graham once said, “Each of us tells our own story even without speaking.” Ellie told her story through innumerable acts of kindness, caring, generosity, patience and example.

Ellie is survived by her children, Steve, Chuck (Cindy), Mary Janet Steen (Frank Langfitt), Margaret Fraser (Bruce), Michael (Marlene), Peter (Suzanne), Tom (Christa); her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
