Esther Emmrich Obituary

Born April 22, 1916, in Eustis, Nebraska, Esther passed May 4, 2014. She had a 35-year career as a bookkeeper with Bonneville Power, followed by several years with Nicholas Ungar Furrier and finally a few more years with Kathleen Rockwell’s Fine Gift Shop in Portland.

When Esther retired, she volunteered for nearly 20 years with the Albertina Kerr Nursing Home in the gift shop, played bridge frequently, was an avid oil painter and loved life.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Emmrich; and brothers, Herman, Walter, Lawrence and Wesley.

Entombment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
