Biography

Eva Gray passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2015, after a long period of poor health. She worked as Head Housekeeper for the Mallory Hotel in Portland until the age of 78.

She is survived by her two sons, Mitchell and Gary Gray; granddaughters, Michelle Baker, and Tonya Gray, who acted as Eva’s major caregiver; and grandsons Mitchell and Michael Gray.

She was preceded in death by her father George ‘Deda’ Mesich, and mother, Antonia ‘Buba’ Asido, both from Yugoslavia; her brothers, George Mesich and Mitch Stimich Mesich; and her sisters, Mary Saban, Tilly ‘Teta’ Gregorich, and Katie Sankovich.
