Frank Broeth Obituary

Frank Albert Broeth passed away on February 19, 2012. He was 84.

Frank was born July 27, 1927 in Parkston, South Dakota.

He served in the first Armored Division during World War II.

Moving to Portland in 1941, Frank married Rosemary Ratermann in 1949.

He worked many years for J.E. Haseltine Co. and The American Steel Company in Portland until retirement in 1983.

Frank was a long time member of St. Clare Catholic Church, volunteering for many years for the Franciscan Enterprises in building homes for the needy. He was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the Holy Name Society.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, who died in 2007.

He is survived by two daughters; Veronica Broeth and Joanne Broeth, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Concluding services with military honors will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
