November 28, 1946 ~ August 13, 2022 (age 75)
Gail C. Luchs, 75, died peacefully in her sleep on August 13th, 2022, at Cornell Estates in Hillsboro OR. Born November 28, 1946, in Portland OR, she is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Katherine Schlick of Aloha, OR, and her late husband, Arnold Luchs of Aloha, OR.
Gail and Arnie spent most of their marriage loving cars and attending car shows with their own classics. Gail had a long career working for the Hillsboro School District where she made lifelong friends and was loved by all. Gail loved sewing and she also loved animals. After her retirement she spent many years volunteering for OFOSA and fostering numerous cats. She is going to be missed by many and will forever be loved by all!
Survivors include her children, Steve and Candy Morton, Kevin Jahnsen and Romanna Flores, and Laurie Luchs; grandchildren, Kaitlin Morton, Madison Morton, and Gabriel Jahnsen; and great granddaughter Hadley Tsukamoto.
Crypt side services will be held at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum, 319 S Taylors Ferry Road, Portland, OR 97219 on Friday August 26th, 2022, at 10AM.
There will be a celebration of life for Gail at 811 NE Donelson Rd., Hillsboro OR 97124 on Friday August 26th. This will be an open house so stop by anytime between 4-8PM.
The family wishes to thank those who have extended emotional and spiritual support for Gail during her final days.
