George was a 5th generation Californian, but lived most of his adult life and raised his family in the Vermont Hills area of Portland.
After his retirement from Lloyd Corporation, he taught Heating and Air Conditioning at Portland Community College. He was involved in the establishment of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Carlos; daughter, Patricia and son, George.
Survived by daughter, Betsy (Todd) Howe.
A service has not been scheduled.
Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
