Biography

Helen K. Rash, 91, died January 15, 2012. She was born, October 17, 1920, in Havre, Montana.

Helen was office manager for firms in Nehalem, McMinnville and Portland; ran a daycare; and owned/managed several rental homes. She later became proprietor of area restaurants Pal Joey’s and the Wilshire Tavern.

Preceded in death by her husband, Verne.

Survivors are son, Randy; daughter, Laura; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
