Biography

Irene was born in Grants Pass. She graduated from Reed College in 1941, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Irene was the head chemist for Hercules, now Ashland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Freda Carson. She is survived by her loving godchildren.
