Irene Woodley Obituary

Etha Irene (Mosby) Woodley was born July 4, 1923, in Roundup, Montana to James Mosby and Amelia Kyle.

After graduating from high school in St. Helens, OR, she met and married the love of her life, Robert Woodley, who proposed to her on their first date. In their 60 years of marriage they raised two children, Linda and James who gave her two grandchildren, Michael and Jessica. Irene’s love for her family was boundless and she was always willing to tackle any project to help a loved one.

Her creativity was evident in her passion for sewing, Christmas crafts, and other projects. She touched so many lives through her willingness to help others, be it as a movie theater and motel owner in Mitchell, OR, a saleswoman, a real estate agent or a landlord.

After her husband’s death in 2007, she remained active until her death on June 3, 2015.
