Jean Marie Baldwin passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in West Linn, Oregon.
Jean was born in Oroville, California to Glen and Rita Rash on March 7th, 1938. She attended Cleveland High school. Later, she worked for the phone company, where she met the love of her life and husband to be, George Baldwin. They were married September 13, 1957, at Faith Lutheran Church in Portland
Jean was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was very active in Women’s Groups and Bible Study Fellowship. She volunteered serving at soup kitchens and delivered Meals on Wheels. She loved to hike, swim, bowl, and play volleyball. She was also a gifted artist.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Baldwin. She is survived by her children; Tamara (Rod) Hartley, Brent (Denise) Baldwin, Robin (Bryan) Persen, George C. Baldwin, Grandchildren; Christine (Michael), Genevieve (Steve), Matt (Cheyenne), Torie, Becca, Chelsea, Rhys, and Neil (Danica).
There will be a private crypt-side service for immediate family at Riverview Abbey, led by Pastor Moeller.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Portland, Oregon.
Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels.
