January 6, 1956 ~ October 1, 2020 (age 64)
Jeff Stacey passed away at his home in Lake Oswego, Thursday, October 1, 2020 of natural causes, at age 64.
Jeff was a lifelong Oregonian and grew up in Portland with his parents Albert and Edith Stacey and his brother Brad. He attended Parkrose High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from Willamette University in 1978.
Jeff worked in the family printing business until retiring in 2004. During his time at Stacey’s Lithography-Printing, he helped grow the business serving local companies, advertising agencies and graphic design firms.
He was active in the Rose Festival and especially enjoyed working on the auto races. Jeff Stacey joined the Rose Festival board of directors in 1982 as probably the youngest director on record at that time. Rose Festival offered the perfect outlet for Jeff’s passion for auto racing. As a member of the festival’s powerhouse Auto Race Committee, he saw the advent of Rose Festival’s involvement in IndyCar racing in 1984 and remained an active part of that core group even after the festival’s departure from racing years later. After retiring, Jeff loved to travel and collect cars.
He is survived by his brother, Brad Stacey of Portland.
