Katherine Lockie Obituary

Katherine Tom Vlahos Lockie was born in Portland.

She attended Lincoln High School and University of Oregon.

Katherine was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Through the years she served as a member and past president of the Assistance League of Portland and past president of the Women’s Activity Board at Portland Golf Club.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Marina and Tom Vlahos; and her brother, Peter Vlahos.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jack Lockie; her son, Tommy Starfa;, daughters, Joyce Beazley and Jan Lockie; by her granddaughters, Stephanie Hooper and Kristin Beazley; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Sam Morgan. Katherine is also survived by the extended Vlahos family and countless other family and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum or the charity of choice .
