A mass of Christian burial for Kenneth “John” Condon will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 650 A Avenue, Lake Oswego, Oregon, on Thursday, August 23 at 11:00am. A reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall.

John Condon, of Lake Oswego, passed away from ALS on August 19, 2012 at the age of 63. John was born on July 1, 1949 in Portland, Oregon to Kenneth and Imelda Condon. He was the grandson of Bruno Paul and Helen John. He was raised in Northeast Portland where he attended Madeleine Elementary School. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1967. He later earned a BA degree from University of Oregon and a JD from Gonzaga Law School. He also received a masters in tax from the University of Miami.

John loved being an attorney in private practice until his illness. He had a passion for developing multi-family housing in the Portland Metro area. John was dedicated to swimming and enjoyed golf, skiing and running. He was an avid news junkie.

John is survived by the love of his life, Kaye and three wonderful children: Katie, a medical student in Mozambique, Africa; Brian, living and working in Spokane, Washington and Colleen, who is studying math at Columbia University in New York. John leaves behind 4 siblings, Molly Butler, Betsy Pursley, Jim Condon, Ed Condon and 13 nieces and nephews.

A private interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
