Biography

Lincoln Cervantes Groner died March 10, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born February 11, 1935 in Grants Pass to Wilbur and Elaine (Plumridge)Groner.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Rice) Groner; children, Leah Grotzinger (Ray), David Groner, Margaret Lehman (Joe); grandchildren, Paul and Katie Grotzinger; Casenya, Mason, and Dawson Groner; Tyler, Samantha, and Zachary Lehman.

Lincoln graduated from OSU in 1957 with an electrical engineering degree. He was an active member of the Professional Engineers of Oregon, he served three terms on the State Board of Engineering Examiners.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, at The Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave. at 2 p.m.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OSHU Knight Cancer Center.
