Biography

Louis “Louie” Cava passed away peacefully on June 10, 2014 to be with his beloved wife MaryAnn and son Jeffrey who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his two children John, Gina Howarth, and his four beautiful grandchildren Dane, Rocco, Haley, and Blake.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11 a.m.

Resurrection Catholic Parish, 21060 SW Stafford Road, Tualatin, OR 97062.

Lou worked with my dad in his barber shop for as long as I can remember. Lou was always so kind and friendly to me growing up and he always told funny stories. He was such a good friend to my dad and I know my dad appreciated and respected him as much as anyone he knew. What an amazing person!!!

Lou worked with my husband, Terry in his barber shop for many years. He was extremely well loved by his customers and my family. It was truly a privilege and honor to have Lou and Mary Ann in our lives for so many years. They were truly wonderful, wonderful people!!!

My husband and I extend our sincere sympathy to Louie’s family. Sacramento School was where Louie entered my life -we were both elementary teachers. Our young daughter always called him “that funny Mr. Cava”. His love of students, young children and all he met was a wonderful thing to remember about him.
Everyone will miss him so.
