Madeline O. Myers-Foster died July 30, 2012. She was 96 years old.
Madeline was born in Portland, moving to Tacoma in 1992. She used her love of sewing by volunteering and making quilts for victims of fires and other disasters.

Family was very important to her, and she is survived by her daughter, Sue (Mike); granddaughters, Carla Golden and Cyndi Johnson (Burton); great-granddaughter, Sicily; sister, Cleo; three nieces; and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, 2 p.m., at Riverview Abbey Funeral Home, 0319 SW Taylors Ferry Road.

Remembrances may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
