October 29, 1960 ~ November 19, 2024 (age 64)
Marc Rhinevault, born October 29, 1960, to Elvin and Mary Rhinevault at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 19, 2024. He was 64 years old.
Marc grew up in Tigard, Oregon, where he built a life filled with love and cherished memories. He was the proud father of three children-David, Kristina, and Dylan-who he raised with his first wife, Beverly. He was preceded in death by his son, David, whose memory he held dear. Marc also had a stepdaughter, Mandy. In 2015, Marc married his second wife, Wendi, with whom he shared many happy years together.
A man known for his loyalty, trustworthiness, and generosity, Marc was a good friend to many and always had a smile to share. He had a passion for life and enjoyed exploring new hobbies, cooking, baking, and crafting. He loved spending time at the beach, going for scenic drives, and embracing the beauty of nature. Marc’s deep affection for animals was evident in his companionship with his beloved dog, Sydney.
Marc was a family man who cherished his role as papa to his grandson, Carter. His warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Wendi; his children, Kristina and Dylan; his stepdaughter, Mandy; his grandson, Carter; his dog, Sydney; and a wide circle of family and friends who will remember him fondly.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Providence Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Marc’s final days.
A Celebration of Life for friends, family, and coworkers is planned for Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. This will be held at Riverview Abbey Funeral Home Chapel. 319 S. Taylors Ferry Road ~ Portland, Oregon 97219
