Margaret Bergquist Obituary

 

Peggy Connor Bergquist was born October 5, 1922 and raised in St. Paul, Oregon. She graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Nursing. Her nursing career spanned decades, including being a Clinical Instructor at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Vancouver, Washington, being an ENT-OR nurse at the Portland Clinic and a geriatric nurse at Willamette View in Milwaukie. She took a break for a few years to raise her family and retired in 1985. During retirement, Peggy was active in a senior hiking group, in the St Francis Guild at her church and in her Nursing Alumni Association.

She married Roy Bergquist in 1947 and had 4 children, Timothy (Lesley), Kathleen (Mike Devenney), Michael (Jennifer), Brian, plus 4 grandchildren, John (Andrea Jensen), Jeff (Beka), Matthew, Andrew, and 1 great-grandchild, Connor Bergquist.
