Margaret “Peggy” Hartwig
Wessling passed away on
Saturday, May 25th in her home
surrounded by family. She was
87 years old.
Peggy was born in March
24, 1932 to Otto and Florence
Hartwig in Portland, Oregon.
She graduated from Jefferson
High School. She became a
ticket agent for West Coast
Airlines where she met her
future husband Spencer W
Wessling. Together they raised
3 children. She was an ardent
golfer with 2 holes in one to her
credit.
She is survived by her
husband Spencer, daughters Cheryl Rhodes, Susan (Bob)
Walsh and son Steven (Bobbi) Wessling. She is also survived
by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was interred at Riverview Abbey in Portland, Oregon.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to
Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, 8880 SW Nimbus Ave, Suite
B, Beaverton, Oregon 97008.

Will miss you dearly Aunt Peggy. Will be praying for the family.

I didnâ€™t know Margaret but when I saw her picture in the obituaries I was moved by her sweet smile and I had to write my condolences to her family who will miss her.
The scriptures that comforted me at the loss of many family members was Revelation 21:3,4; Psalms 37:9-11; and John 5:28,29. May it comfort you as well.
