Marilyn Ramsey Obituary

Marilyn was born in Portland at Good Samaritan Hospital on April 27, 1953. She died July 29, 2012 at the age of 59.

Marilyn attended Mary Lewis Elementary School and graduated with honors from Cleveland High School. Marilyn graduated from Portland State University and OHSU School of Nursing with a B.S. degree in nursing. She was a RN at OHSU and was the charge nurse in the Neurosurgery and ENT Department, retiring, after 30 years of service. Marilyn was a very giving, caring and loving person.

She was a Girl Scout for 11 years from brownies to seniors and achieved first class. As a senior girl scout Marilyn was very involved in community service.

Marilyn loved reading, the outdoors, and custom jewelry making.

Marilyn is survived by her parents, Leon and Betty Ramsey and her sister, Carol Kelly.
