Alpha Chapter has been blessed to have had MaryLouise as a member for many, many years. She always brightened up our meetings and supported ADK in so many ways. We are going to miss her dearly!

My condolences to all of Mary Louise’s family. Her Alpha Delta Kappa (teaching) sisters have missed her graceful presence this past year or so at our meetings, and we will hold her in our hearts now and always.
Mrs. Marking was a fixture in my life, from North Portland to the SW suburbs: one of my mom’s dearest friends and bridge partners; mother of Tom, my Boy Scout buddy from Troop 671; gentle foil for Gerry and his great golf stories; provider of boxes and boxes of teaching aids as she was winding down her career and I was just beginning mine; a shoulder for Mom to lean on when her children sometimes became too much. Greetings and my sympathies to all the family.
I have had the privilege of being Mary Louise’s ADK sister for many years. I will always remember my last visit to her lovely home for an ADK program from the Audobon Society. We had such a good time. She was such a gracious hostess. I will miss her twinkly eyes and beautiful smile. RIP dear friend.
